1. Fit Around the Stem from the Side
The side-opening body wraps around a compatible faucet mounting stem. You do not have to feed this nut over the ends of the attached supply hoses to position it.

2. Close the Buckle by Hand
Position the nut against the underside of the mounting surface, then close the locking buckle to engage the threads. The nut itself is designed for hand operation.
